| A place of refuge awaits you. Freedom House is a safe haven for women who have been physically and emotionally abused. This residential facility provides a safe environment for victims of domestic violence. During your stay, you will be surrounded with the love, support, encouragement and empowerment that you need to overcome the trauma of abuse. Not only will your stay at Freedom House encourage and empower you, it will also educate you by preparing you for your new life through our residential Life Skills Program. Through the use of easy learning techniques, licensed professionals will help prepare you for an independent lifestyle at home and at work. Women and children are welcome to stay up to 30-days. Life Skills Program The Life Skills Program is comprised of three 90-minute solace sessions that will motivate you to look your very best during our Beauty Enhancement session, stimulate you to take a bite out of life during our Culinary Arts session and inspire you to pursue your life’s ambition during our Career Enhancement session.
