| Faith comes by hearing. As the founder of Women of Freedom Foundation, Rayshel Murphy is committed to increasing community consciousness about the perils of domestic violence. Over the past year she has conducted domestic violence awareness seminars in Washington, D.C. at Gospel Ark Temple Bible Way Church, Covenant Baptist Church, Progressive Muslim Network’s Interfaith Awareness Event and Heaven 1580 Town Hall. She has also conducted seminars at the No More Cover-Up Retreat located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and the Peace in the Street Pep Rally located in Silver Spring, Maryland.
